neo rauch @ david zwirner gallery, NYC

since i am now posting about artists who i enjoy, who inspire me, and whose work is fascinating, i may as well mention mr. rauch.  neo is well known worldwide, his success in recent years is dreamlike, and his paintings are epic in size and in skill.  he is a source of wonder for me personally, and i am constantly surprised with the depth of his imagination and his range of characters, settings, palette, and compositions.  i love his work, and once, i shook his hand at an opening in new york.  and i was nervous.    enjoy....
